Basic Invite – A Photographer’s go-to for Holiday Photo Cards
Holiday Photo Cards can be fun and easy!
When it comes to cards, I can get a bit picky. I want to make sure the colors and fonts all match my style. And that’s not always easy to do on a lot of websites out there.
Many sites have tons of designs for holiday photo cards. Then, when it comes time to make those designs your own, they let you down.
But not Basic Invite!

They have tons of different designs, but not too many. I don’t know about you, but I can’t sift through 1,000’s of designs while only choosing one without losing my mind. Basic Invite has the right amount of beautifully designed layouts.
I also love that you can favorite the cards that you are drawn to. Then you can look at only your favorites to help narrow down your decision.
The color options that Basic Invite allows you to have is incredible! It is one of the few websites that have tons of color of options and instant previews. Once you select a design you can change the color of each element on the card to over 180 different color options. You can make sure the card is exactly how you want it down to the littlest detail. This is what sets them apart from almost any other online stationery company.
If you are still indecisive, that’s okay. They allow you to order only one card to see how it looks in person! And you can even have your own images on those single cards. Basic Invite allows you the ability to order a printed sample of your actual holiday photo card. You can see exactly how it will print as well as feel the paper quality before you ever have to place your final order.
In preparation for this post, I ordered a handful of samples myself. There are a few different types of paper. If you are like me, then you like to hold something in your hand to see if it has the right feel.
